VHD To Lead Potential Open Source Project

VHD is working with its partner Borman & Company to launch an open source project for a technology transfer management system that would be targeted initially to higher education.  A silent technical partner is involved who will provide for a major contribution of code that is currently in operation with many higher education institutions and federal government agencies.  The program is dependent on funding from a coalition of major educational and research institutions and federal agencies normally involved in research funding.

An architecture team will form once the sponsors are identified and presented the opportunity to participate.  Work on the project is slated to commence this summer and will be run with two development teams operating under Agile/Scrum that may be distributed both inside and, depending on sponsorship restrictions, outside the United States.  VHD will provide leadership for the product architecture and fill the Scrum Master role as well as source developers for the project.  Do contact us through our Contact page if you would like to inquire about this project.
